Southern Oregon deserves a representative who will fight for our values, defend our rights, and bring results—not rhetoric. Here's what I'll fight for in Salem.

My Priorities For House District 3

I've been a conservative my entire life. I'm pro-life. I'm pro-Second Amendment. I believe in limited government, lower taxes, and fewer regulations. I believe in free enterprise and personal responsibility. I believe government should be efficient and accountable. I am pro-agriculture, pro law enforcement and pro-parental rights in education.

These aren't new positions I've adopted for politics. These are the values I've lived by as a business owner, as a Christian, and as a City Councilor. They're the foundation of who I am.

That's what I'll bring to Salem.

Below are the core priorities that will guide my work in the Oregon House. They're the issues that matter most to Southern Oregon families, businesses, and communities.

The Foundation:
What I Believe

proud conservative

I'll fight for fiscal responsibility, demand accountability, and bring our tax dollars back home. That means:

My Commitment

The Problem: Salem collects millions in tax dollars from Southern Oregon families and businesses, but when our sheriff needs deputies, our roads need repairs, and our fire departments need equipment, where's the money? It's being wasted on Portland priorities while our communities go without.

My opponent's political tensions cost Grants Pass $5.8 million in infrastructure funding. He was absent for the vote on a $1 billion funding bill. He's passed zero bills that brought resources back to our district. Southern Oregon deserves better.

Stop Salem's Waste, Fund Our District First

  • Auditing state spending to eliminate waste and hold Salem accountable
  • Fighting for our fair share of infrastructure funding for roads, bridges, and Highway 199
  • Supporting public safety by ensuring our sheriff and fire departments have the resources they need
  • Opposing tax increases and making government live within its means
  • Giving local control to communities over how state dollars are spent

Specific Actions

The Rural Oregon Infrastructure & Safety Act: I'll champion legislation that guarantees rural communities receive a fair share of state transportation funding based on population, road miles, and infrastructure needs—not political favoritism.

The Local Law Enforcement Support Act: I'll fight to create a state grant program modeled after successful programs in other states that helps rural counties fund essential law enforcement positions when local revenues fall short.

Fiscal Accountability: I'll demand transparency in state spending and push for audits that identify waste, fraud, and inefficiency.

I'll stand with law-abiding gun owners, protect our manufacturers, and vote NO on gun control. That means:

My Commitment

The Problem: Oregon Democrats are waging war on law-abiding gun owners. They're passing bills that punish responsible citizens, create confusing patchworks of local restrictions, and drive firearms manufacturers out of business.

Noveske Rifleworks, a firearms manufacturer right here in Grants Pass, has said they fear being forced to leave Oregon due to hostile regulations. That's not just an attack on our constitutional rights—it's an attack on local jobs and our economy.

When Salem passed a gun control bill (SB 243), my opponent walked out instead of voting NO. That's not leadership—that's quitting. Gun owners deserved a representative who would stay and fight, not give up his voice when they needed it most.

Defend Our Second Amendment Rights

  • Voting NO on gun control every single time
  • Protecting firearms manufacturers like Noveske Rifleworks so they can operate and thrive in Oregon
  • Defending concealed carry rights and pushing back on local restrictions that create confusion
  • Supporting shooting ranges and hunting access on public lands
  • Championing pro-gun legislation that protects our constitutional rights

Specific Actions

The Second Amendment Protection Act: I'll introduce legislation that prevents local governments from creating a patchwork of concealed carry restrictions and ensures law-abiding gun owners can exercise their rights consistently across the state.

The Firearms Industry Protection Act: I'll champion legislation that protects firearms manufacturers from punitive regulations and ensures Oregon remains a welcoming place for this vital industry.

Vote NO: I'll vote NO on every gun control bill and stay on the floor to fight—no walkouts, no excuses.

As a small business owner who founded Novum Visuals in 2014, I know what employers need: lower taxes, less red tape, and protection from punitive regulations. I'll make House District 3 a pro-business refuge in an anti-business state. That means:

My Commitment

The Problem: Oregon is ranked 47th in business friendliness by CNBC. Salem makes it harder every year for small businesses to survive with punitive regulations, high taxes, and red tape.

My opponent tried to raise the Corporate Activity Tax (CAT) exemption—NFIB Oregon's #1 priority—and it failed. He couldn't get it done. Small businesses need a representative who can deliver results, not just good intentions.

Make House District 3 a Pro-Business Refuge

  • Raising the CAT exemption so small businesses don't get hit with taxes they can't afford
  • Fixing the Equal Pay Law to allow hiring bonuses without fear of lawsuits
  • Cutting regulatory red tape by reducing unnecessary permits, fees, and compliance burdens
  • Protecting manufacturers from hostile regulations that drive them out of state
  • Supporting job creation by making Oregon competitive with neighboring states

Specific Actions

The Small Business Relief & Recovery Act: I'll champion legislation that raises the Corporate Activity Tax exemption threshold, fixes the Equal Pay Law to allow hiring bonuses, and reduces regulatory burdens on small employers.

The Regulatory Reform Act: I'll push for a comprehensive review of state regulations to identify and eliminate unnecessary rules that harm businesses without improving public safety or welfare.

Get It Done: My opponent tried and failed. I'll build the coalitions, work across the aisle, and get these priorities passed into law.

Democrats have made Oregon one of the worst states in America to do business. Their endless taxes and regulations are killing jobs and driving employers away.

I'll fight to cut the red tape strangling businesses, and protect local employers from Salem's anti-business agenda. Families need jobs, not more government.

Decrease Regulations and Increase Affordable Housing

Fight for Business Owners and Working Families

01

Families are being priced out of Josephine County because government regulations make it too expensive and time-consuming to build homes.

I'll fight to remove the unnecessary roadblocks that stops housing development, streamline permitting processes, and increase the supply of affordable housing so families can buy homes and build their futures here.

HB 3115 has turned our communities into homeless camps filled with open drug use. Salem Democrats tied cities' hands while addiction and crime spiraled out of control.

I'll fight to repeal HB 3115, restore local control, support our police, and provide drug treatment programs combined with real consequences. Families deserve safe neighborhoods, not Salem's failed experiment in enabling addiction.
